Hi, I'm Martha — welcome to my kitchen! 👋
Cook Time Recipes is where I share the meals I actually cook at home: quick weeknight dinners, comforting classics, fresh salads, seafood favorites, and the sweet treats my family asks for again and again. Every recipe here is one I've made myself — usually more than once, because the first try is where you learn what really matters.
How This Blog Started
Like a lot of home cooks, I learned by doing: burning a batch of meatballs here, over-whipping cream there, and slowly figuring out the small details that make a recipe actually work in a real kitchen. I started writing my recipes down so I wouldn't forget them — and then started sharing them so that busy cooks like you wouldn't have to make the same mistakes I did.

My Cooking Philosophy
Good food doesn't need to be complicated. Most of my recipes come together in under an hour, many in far less. I believe the best dish is the one you'll actually make on a Tuesday night after a long day — not the one that looks perfect but sits saved in a folder forever. Tasty results, without the stress. That's the whole idea.
