- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 cup cooked sausage, sliced
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 bell peppers (red and yellow), sliced
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 fresh lemon (juice)
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Seasoning salt to taste
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 box linguine pasta, cooked
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Step 1: Cook Sausage & Vegetables
Heat butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic, bell peppers, and sausage. Cook until the garlic is lightly browned and the sausage is fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 2: Season the Shrimp
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and lightly toss with olive oil.
Step 3: Cook the Shrimp
In the same pan, cook the shrimp over medium heat for 3–5 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 4: Make the Sauce
Add butter, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, hot sauce, and all seasonings to the pan. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Step 5: Cook the Pasta
Cook linguine in salted boiling water with a splash of olive oil until al dente (6–8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Step 6: Combine Everything
Return sausage, vegetables, and shrimp to the sauce. Add cooked pasta and mix until evenly coated.
Step 7: Add Cheese & Finish
Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Top with fresh parsley before serving.
Serving Tips
- Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.
